Learn More About Nutrition Aligned

Overhauling your entire lifestyle all at once is not sustainable and not necessary. Lasting change comes from small, realistic steps that fit your life, not rigid rules or all-or-nothing approaches.

At Nutrition Aligned, Leanne and Sarah combine evidence-based nutrition science with practical, individualized strategies that you can actually put into practice. They take the complex world of nutrition and translate it into clear, sustainable action steps that support your goals.

Whether you’re recovering from an eating disorder, improving your relationship with food and body image, or working to prevent or manage chronic disease, you’ll receive compassionate support, encouragement, and guidance in a completely judgment-free space.

We’re The Practical Dietitians. We meet you where you are, help you cut through the noise, and empower you to achieve your goals on your own terms…. for the long haul.

Sarah Atlas, RD, LD, CEDS
Registered Dietitian | Certified Eating Disorder Specialist | Co-Owner of Nutrition Aligned

Sarah Atlas is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), and co-owner of Nutrition Aligned. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, and body image concerns, helping clients build a healthier relationship with food while working toward lasting recovery.

Sarah’s passion for nutrition began through her own experiences recovering from multiple hip surgeries related to competitive running and soccer. During her recovery, she experienced firsthand the powerful role that nutrition plays in healing, physical health, and overall well-being. That experience ultimately inspired her to pursue a career as a Registered Dietitian.

Today, Sarah’s work focuses primarily on supporting adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED, and chronic disordered eating. She has extensive experience working with medically complex eating disorder presentations and collaborates closely with therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, and family members as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Sarah practices from a weight-inclusive, evidence-based perspective and is passionate about helping clients move away from food rules, fear, and guilt so they can reconnect with their body’s needs and live fuller, more meaningful lives. She believes that recovery is possible for individuals of all ages, body sizes, and backgrounds and strives to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered throughout the recovery process.

Patients often describe Sarah as empathetic, collaborative, and approachable. She is known for meeting clients where they are while also providing the structure, education, and accountability needed to support meaningful change.

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University and later completed her degree in Nutrition at Arizona State University. She completed her dietetic internship through the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and earned her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) credential through the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals Foundation (IAEDP).

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, laughing with family and friends, and playing with her kittens, Lilly and Nugget.
